WHAT WE DO
At Braxton’s Academy, your child’s safety, development, and education are our top priorities. From infancy to pre-kindergarten, your child is immersed in educational experiences that satisfy their learning and developmental needs. Through our small student to teacher ratios, we ensure that your child has the adequate attention and care they require to excel physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Curriculum
Braxton's Academy utilizes Frog Street curriculum to plan specific activities that promote school readiness. The curriculum is based on helping children to attain positive school readiness outcomes.
Infant/Toddler teachers utilizes Foundations for Success and Frog Street along with a variety of Infant-Toddler curriculum resource books to plan appropriate activities for children.
Class Sizes & Ages
At our childcare, we strive to maintain small class sizes so that each child can get the individual attention they need. Our classrooms are generally limited to 10 children per teacher. We understand that young children learn best in intimate, nurturing environments, and we strive to create those environments. We also provide additional support staff (teachers, teacher’s assistants, etc.) as needed to ensure each child is getting the care and attention they deserve. We are committed to providing the best possible learning experience for your child, and our small class sizes are a key part of that commitment.
0-23 months: (8 students)
24 - 36 months: (7 students)
37-47 months: (9 students)
48 months - 56 months: (20 students)
Food Program
At our childcare, we offer a nutritious and balanced food program for children. We provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks throughout the day, all of which are cooked from fresh ingredients. Our meals are designed to meet the dietary needs of young children and are prepared in accordance with government guidelines.
